4: Edmodo (A type of app that you use to get a hold of teachers and do work on)

5: Netflix (Show/Movie watching/streaming app)

6: GarageBand (To make beats/songs that appeal to you)

7: Behance (An app that lets creativity flow as you are surrounded by people with similar interests and pieces of their work)

8: Classroom (An app that is used by everyone know as a means of schooling online)

9: Adobe Photoshop (Photoshop but on mobile and not nearly as cool and efficient as its computer counterpart)

Discord is the kind of application that allows you to play with your friends, get a hold of them, join sub groups and meet new friends, the kicker here is that its an app that is made for people gaming together.  I have had discord for a while now and the layout of the app is not confusing at all, its very well laid out and the navigation is simple, it can also be customized to your preferred liking which is just one reason it makes for a great social media app.  Discord supports video calls, voice chat and it can be used to text as well and its superb for PC users because everything they could need to talk to somebody is right there when you need it to be.  With discord constantly bringing in new people using the app, its always being updated with brand new innovations or features that overall make the app easier and better to use, it brings communities together and you can share servers when you are inside other servers bringing more people together and they are always just one click away.  Discord is an app that lets you talk with your friends while you play games, its wonderful. 

Instagram is a social media app that works, but it should not be your first choice and here is why.  Instagram needs a photo attached to anything in order to post it and some people may not like that aspect about it, because if you want to just get something off your mind, it always requires a photo attachment in order to post it to your story or your home page.  Instagram is also flooded with bots, some not so PG and the admins working at Instagram don't consider this a major thing to be fixing meanwhile most of its users are still relatively young and shouldn't be exposed to the nasty things that are hidden in comment sections of famous people or people of authority, and the worst part is, they will sometimes message you trying to get you to click on a link.  Instagram also has very poor support when you need help, you almost always have to rely on a friend or someone to help you when you don't know what to do in the App, the admins of it won't help you and that's off of experience.  Instagram is not a very good overall app and it will not and won't be my first choice social media app.
